My next novel, Closest Kept is published in under 2 month’s time - on 6th May - and I’ve recently received my advance author copies from my publisher, which is always an exciting moment. Here I am in the video above, undoing the package, with my dog Walter’s er…help.
I haven’t decided yet whether I’ll have a launch event this time or not, but if I do decide to, you’ll be the first to know. Watch this space!
The main characters in Closest Kept are Lily, an artist, and the close-knit group of friends who have become her family. Lily never expected to get as close to anyone as she is to them, so she didn’t realise what a risk it would be to tell them the same lies about her background that she’s always told new people.
At what point is it worth telling the whole truth? And if you decide to keep secrets, are you risking everything?
